Petaka itu berawal pada 2003. Setiap kali mendengar teriakan orang yang mengagetkan, jantung Meyty berdegup kencang. Tubuh terasa lemas, nafsu makan pun berkurang, kenangnya. Selain itu, napas tersengal-sengal dan keringat dingin deras mengucur. Derita itu makin lengkap ketika rasa sakit di dada bagian kiri, kerap menyambangi. Rasanya seperti ditusuk-tusuk, kata Meyty. Merasakan derita seperti itu, Meyty teringat masa kecil. Saat duduk di bangku Sekolah Dasar, ia pernah mengalami gejala serupa. Namun, ketika itu tak ada kecurigaan sedikit pun di benaknya.
