Petaka itu berawal pada 2003. Setiap kali mendengar teriakan orang yang mengagetkan, jantung Meyty berdegup kencang. Tubuh terasa lemas, nafsu makan pun berkurang, kenangnya. Selain itu, napas tersengal-sengal dan keringat dingin deras mengucur. Derita itu makin lengkap ketika rasa sakit di dada bagian kiri, kerap menyambangi. Rasanya seperti ditusuk-tusuk, kata Meyty.
